The second meeting of the Lone Star Quilt Study Group will be held Saturday, August 25th from 11 a.m. –4 p.m.. The cost is $30 which includes lunch. Registration is limited to the first 100.
The meeting will be at the Ellis County Woman's Building at 406 W. Jefferson, Waxahachie, Texas sponsored by Denise Lipscomb and Common Threads quilt shop. Registration forms are available through _lsqsg@hotmail.com_ (mailto:lsqsg@hotmail.com) .
Carolyn Miller will speak on Characteristics of Late 19th Century Pennsylvania Quilts. Some of her antique quilts are currently on exhibit at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.
