Speaking of antique quilts, this is a picture of one in my collection that’s the closest to a traditional green and red Christmas motif.
I don’t know it’s age, but the main reason I bought it was because of the crazy little green pinwheel fabric used in the sashing. That’s a logical reason, isn’t it?
There are some shattered fabric in some of the stars and on the entire back of the quilt so I know she’s an “old girl.” That green pinwheel fabric just made me lose my head and buy it!

Such a lovely red and green antique quilt. Perfect for Christmas. I was at a new antique mall today and saw old several red/green quilts. I could only dream.

What an unusual red and green quilt, the sashing print is very quirky, but it works with the star blocks and looks great on the bed!!!
