When I took the blog tour earlier this year for Volume 3 of the 100 Blocks magazine by Quiltmaker, I won a copy. Needless to say, but I am, that I will take the tour again this time. Give it a try. It’s a good way to learn about different quilt designers even if you don’t win anything.
Look what arrived in the mail today from Sew Unique Creations.
I went crazy over these Centennial Solids by Judie Rothermel. I even bought extra yardage of the Cheddar. I love cheddar, don’t you. The fabrics with prints are from the Crossroads to Texas line by Betsy Chutchian and Civil War Reunion by Barbara Brackman which was on sale.
I have not yet cut out Block #45 of the Civil War Quilt block of the week but fabric is chosen. Choosing which fabrics to use are the hardest part usually. I hope to work on it tonight.
Sew, I better get on with it!
I'm so glad you've shown me the way to the blogs with blocks. I have seen a few but didn't know how I could find others. I'm loving your fabric selection.
ReplyDeleteLove your new purchases! Solids are a favourite of mine anytime. I finished the latest CW block last night, I decided to do the Blockbase version, it took hours LOL!!!
