A BETTER WAY TO MAKE BLOCK #48 OF THE CIVIL WAR QUILT AND MORE

American Homestead has another way to make “West Virginia,” block 48 of Brackman’s Civil War Quilt 2011 with no “Y” seams.  Just click on her blog name on the first sentence and it will take you there to her instructions and photos.  That’s the way I’m going with it.
My computer just returned from the shop after being infected by a “worm blaster” virus.

A little trip to Office Depot, 3 days and  $200 later, we are back up and running.  Just in time to order some Cherrywood Fabric on the “Free Shipping” Cyber Monday.  That’s been my only purchase for the after Thanksgiving shopping hullabaloo (except computer repair fee!!!!).
That’s all for now.  Catch ya later!

  2. That is a good way to make block 48, but I don't mind Y-seams. too bad about the virus, but great that you caught Cherrywood Fabrics Cyber Monday. Maybe next year for me.
