Another great package arrived in my mailbox today! It contained 162 half square triangles from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles exchange through The Quilt Show. It's just like Christmas in April! They were all made on triangle paper to assure accuracy and consistency.
They were from all over the world – 45 different states in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Finland, Norway, The Netherlands, S. Korea, Scotland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. There are even 4 HSTs made by Ricky Tims!
Add those HSTs to the extras I made and kept for myself, I should have enough for a neat project.
Unfortunately, there’s a whole lot of ironing open, cutting off the side ears, and tearing off the paper backing to be done so I will be an ongoing project for a while.
And there’s some layout planning to do – I’ll go through this book again to inspire myself.
I'm in quilter's heaven.
