Another Civil War Diary Block

Just a quick note here.  This block is called “Dark Gloom”.  I would say that its name is appropriate.  It was a tough one.

There was an inset seam that gave me fits and some of the parts don’t line up properly.  This one may be a “do over” sometime in the future, but I plan to move on to something simpler for the next block.  Gotta give myself a break every once in a while.
