Just finished baking two Thanksgiving pecan pies and they smell so good. But one of them doesn’t look as good as the other. One looks perfect but the other one boiled over a bit onto the cookie sheet under it for protection. That one looks like I sat on it but it’s going to Mom’s anyway.

Even Marie Calendar had a goof today. For the last two years I have purchased Marie Calendar pumpkin pies, they are good and easy. I have to make gluten free pies for Bud so the MC pies help me out. Today I baked two pies, one at a time--------both are burned on the top. Maybe if I smother them in whipped cream no one will notice. Happy Thanksgiving!
