Called Grandmother’s Choice, it begins September 1.
I started collecting William Morris fabrics earlier this year with the intention of using them in this project, plus I have quite a few fabrics in my “resource center” aka “stash” that coordinates with the Morris ones.
There may be a buying excursion in the near future.
I’m planning to complete the Just Takes 2 blocks that I have kitted then will figure a layout to use what I have without the last quarter’s worth of designs. Paper piecing and applique are time consuming thus a cause for procrastination. When one begins to dread working on a sewing project, it’s time to call it quits.
Yesterday, I got my 5” squares mailed off to to the Shades of Gray swap coordinator.
The deadline is not until September 20th so it will be the end of September before we get return fabric squares – 56 shades of gray blocks. Oh, the possibilities.
Looking forward to the new BOW!
