MAMA’S SEWING BOX

My dear 79 year old mother, in that stage of life when she is trying to down-size, asked me if I wanted her old sewing box.  “Sure,” I said.  “You know I love that old sewing stuff.”

What all was in that ugly gold and clear plastic box from the 1970s?

Zippers

Buttons, buttons, buttons

Thread on wooden spools.

Lace, rick rack, bias tape, ribbon
rick rack etc

No tea-dying needed here . . .

A bunch of Singer specialty feet – a ruffler and some others I have no clue as to what they do.

Now I’ve got make room in the sewing "studio" to put all of these cool new (old)  treasures.  Wish me luck!
