THANKS FOR LEAVING YOUR COMMENTS

First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you who have left comments on the last several posts.  I'm sorry I haven't been able to acknowledge each and every one of you personally.  For some reason I have yet to figure out, when I try to respond to a commenter by email, Outlook Express won't send the messages out of the Outbox.  They are just keep sitting there in limbo.  I am receiving messages from OE but no sending is happening yet.  I'll keep piddling until I figure it out - I hope.

If you like antique sewing accessories and quilts, be sure to visit this blog:  Collector With A Needle: Spool Cabinets.  She always has something special to share.

Also today is birthday of Texas independence.   Here's a little history about it from http://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/us/texas-independence-day  I don't think I had any ancestors here in Texas in 1836, but they started arriving in the San Antonio, Uvalde, Utopia, area in the 1840s or 50s via Mississippi then Arkansas then to Texas.  I think that's makes me a 5th generation Texan on my Dad's side of the family.  Research is ongoing.

Keep your fingers crossed that I solve the Outbox crisis at Outlook Express soon.
