I won this fabulous set of Fabric Organizers from Quilters’ Newsletter Magazine blog in a round about way.
Apparently, the first person whose name was drawn did not respond to the QNL editor’s email, so they chose a second name and it was me. I responded without delay – and they arrived at my house a couple of days ago. If you are interested about this type of fabric organizer, read more about them here. A big thanks to Quilters' Newsletter for sending me this product to try.
To test out the organizer, I grabbed about 2 or 3 yards of fabric still lying around of my cutting table from the last Civil War Quilt 2011 BOW, folded the width twice then stuck the end of the fabric under a couple of tabs and wrapped it around the board. Voila! Neat and tidy fabric. Don’t know where I’ll store fabric wrapped this way, but I’m sure I can find a little spot somewhere – maybe the top of my closet? I have fabric stashed everywhere in my bedroom, closets, and sewing room. Labeled and everything so I won’t forget what I have stored away. Maybe?
Getting sew organized, (yeah, right)
