My Sweetie and I, along with my Mom, travelled 700 miles round trip to visit my Aunt & Uncle in southwest Texas. Boy was it hot! The day we arrived the heat index was 107 degrees. Oh my gosh! Heat is not my friend. On the way to their house, we stopped in Kerrville to visit one of my favorite quilt shops, Creations and to visit local guild's quilt show. If you would like to see a slide show of the photos taken at the show, click below where it says "photo slideshow."

It was a great show and well worth the stop.
We did a little shopping, a lot of eating, and some sightseeing. So what is everybody looking at?
This is my family standing on the observation deck of Neals Restaurant in Concan, TX looking at the beautiful scenery.

We had a wonderful time but are glad to be home. My niece is glad we are home too. She was the one left in charge of checking on Ranger the three days we were gone. Ranger was NOT very nice to her. No blood was drawn but his bad temper flared! Poor Ranger. He was glad to see us, but was a little stand-offish for the first couple of hours, then everything was back to normal.
Now, I will announce the winner of the beautiful Anna Griffin charm pack. The number pulled out of the basket was #7, Luci, who did a little quilting and spent time with family on her Memorial Day weekend. Luci, please contact me by email with your mailing address so the charm pack can be mailed to you.
Thanks to all to stopped by and left a comment. I enjoyed reading about your holiday. Best to all.
