20 NEW ENGLAND BLOCK

Block 20 of Brackman’s Civil War Quilt 2011 is called New England.  This is my version.




Once again, I auditioned several different fabric combinations ---

 but decided on the combination shown in the top photo.

The Red and White Crossroads quilt is coming along.  Here’s the assembly line for some of the light-centered blocks, including flying geese.  You can't tell but the white squares laying on the sandpaper board have already been marked with sewing guidelines through the center.  There are 8 FG in each block, so there will be lots of flying geese made.



All in all, a nice sewing Sunday.
