This next series of photos from the Houston Quilt Festival are related to architecture. Below each quilt I’ve also posted a photo of the description provided by the maker just in case you want further background information. I like to give credit where credit is due.
This next one, Adobe Shadow Dance, is one of my favorites. I kept going back to look at it. Sweetie and I love northern New Mexico and the Southwest in general, so this one spoke to us.
The old water towers really take me back to the “olden” days. They haven’t looked like this in years, at least not around the DFW area.
The scene below reminded of a Monet with it’s muted tones and impressionistic style.
Yes, this is an international quilt show as you can see from the names of the quilt makers’ home cities.
