Because of the way #33 Indiana Puzzle was machine appliqued and cut apart for reassembly, I had the remaining 4 extra parts to do something with. I took the easy way out.
Instead of tediously matching the circles into the center like Indiana Puzzle, I decided to sew the un-appliqued edges together. I named my block Texas Puzzle just because that’s were I is. It may go into my Civil War Quilt as an extra block if needed for the setting I choose.
Guess I better get back to working on my Friendship Triangles project but before I do, let me leave you with this thought: "A house becomes a home when you can write "I love you" on the furniture." It is truly home at my house.
Nice alternative block Donna!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA nice block as one of the four additional blocks we will need to make the quilt, clever you!
ReplyDeleteI think you should put this one in your CW quilt-------I like it, better than the original pattern.
