My Sweetie took his Dad to Oklahoma City to visit a cousin while Ranger and I stayed at home. Ranger loves his Papi. He rubs on his flip flop shoes and lays all over his clothes like they are cat nip. Here is Ranger, (trying to) sleeping on his Papi’s t-shirt on the chair where my Sweetie puts on his shoes and socks every morning, trying to keep as close to him as possible.
My final report/photos from the Trinity Valley Quilt Guild show includes:
My Aunt Millie’s Garden made by Sheri Jones and quilted by Janet Stewart Sturdevant.
Wonderful bright colors show so well on a black background, don’t they?
A Present Day Sampler, by Peggy Sympson and quilted by Dawn Smith.
I believe these Sampler blocks were an exchange in her quilting bee. Quite a talented Bee!
Next is Savannah Medallion by Patsy Williamson and quilted by Doris Roberts.
This one doesn’t look as good in the photograph as it did in person (due to the photographer – me – and softer colors don’t seem to photograph as well as vibrant or darker shades.
The pictures I have posted on my blog entries are by no means all that I took. Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of every spectacular quilt at the Show, but if you would like to see the full album containing all the photos I managed to take, click here.
Until next time,
I would suggest that Ranger is not the only one missing his Papi..............
ReplyDeleteI know you will have a special welcome home with his favorite meal and a great desert......
