Mom’s Birthday Gift and a Fat Cat

I’m making progress on the autumn tablerunner (per her request) I’m sewing for my Mother’s birthday on February 25th.  It’s in the quilting stage.  Since it is a simple pattern, I decided to “spice up” the quilting by using my Janome’s feather stitch.  I like it -

 

I’ll post another photo when the quilting is finished and the binding is done.

 

Here’s my fat cat Ranger perched on his favorite wicker box.  The little quilt under him features cat angels a la Laurel Burch.  An angel he’s not!  Well fed he is.
